Privacy Policy
Memorium — A Museum of Memory
Last Updated: May 4, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how your information is collected, used, and shared when you use the Memorium mobile application ("App").
Our Privacy Commitment
Memorium is a single-player puzzle game that runs primarily on your device. We do not collect or store personal information on our servers. Your gameplay progress, settings, and preferences live locally on your device.
Information We Collect
- Gameplay Progress: Levels completed, scores, and exhibit reveal state are stored locally using on-device storage (Hive). This data never leaves your device.
- Settings: Audio preferences, daily challenge state, and similar in-app settings are stored locally on your device.
- Purchase Information: If you make in-app purchases, the transaction is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We rely on RevenueCat to verify your subscription status; RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and your subscription state. We do not receive your payment details.
- Advertising Identifier: Our ad partner may receive your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) for ad personalization. On iOS this requires App Tracking Transparency permission; on Android a consent prompt is shown in the European Economic Area and the UK. You can decline, or change your choice at any time in your device's Settings.
Third-Party Services
Memorium uses a small number of third-party services to deliver content, show ads (free tier), and manage subscriptions:
- AppLovin MAX (advertising): Serves interstitial and rewarded ads on the free tier. AppLovin and its mediation partners may collect device identifiers and ad-engagement data subject to your tracking or consent choice on your platform. See AppLovin's Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat (subscription management): Manages in-app purchase state and entitlements. Stores an anonymous user identifier. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
- Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing: Processes in-app purchases, depending on where you obtained the App. See Apple's Privacy Policy.
- jsDelivr CDN: Serves the exhibit reveal photographs and intro videos. jsDelivr does not require accounts and may log standard request metadata (IP address, request time) for caching. See jsDelivr's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting): Captures anonymized crash logs so we can fix bugs. No personal information is associated with the reports. See Firebase's Privacy Policy.
How We Use Information
- Save and resume your progress through the museum's exhibits
- Cache reveal photographs and intro videos so they don't re-download every session
- Show ads (free tier) and process subscription purchases
- Diagnose crashes and improve stability
Data Storage
All gameplay data — including progress, settings, scores, and downloaded media — is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App removes this data.
Advertising
Memorium offers a free tier that shows interstitial and rewarded ads served via AppLovin MAX. Subscribers to the "No Ads" or higher tier do not see any advertising, and no ad SDKs are initialized for those users on launch.
Ad partners may use your advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) for personalized ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized.
- On iOS: permission is requested under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework; change it in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- On Android: reset or delete the identifier in Settings > Google > Ads.
In-App Purchases
Memorium offers optional subscriptions and one-time purchases:
- No Ads (weekly / one-time): Removes all advertising and grants unlimited peeks.
- Curator's Pass / No Ads + 3 Modes (weekly / one-time): Above plus access to the three premium game modes.
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Purchases can be restored with the same Apple ID or Google account.
Children's Privacy
Memorium is not directed at children under 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.

LGPD (Brazil)
